Management of Scalp diseases@ Dr.Hair


It is normal for skin cells to die and flake off; a small amount of flaking is normal and common. Dandruff is shedding of dry cells from the scalp which is often triggered by frequent exposure to extreme heat and cold. Scientific evidences have shown that fungus does play a role in causing dandruff. Frequent dandruff also influences hair loss


Scalp diseases show itself as one or all of the following i.e. itching, redness and flaking of scalp and are usually seen in conditions like Scalp Psoriasis, Sebhorric Dermatitis etc. Scalp damage may also be caused due to excessive use of heat from blow dryers, hot oil application etc.
