Wishing a Perfect Health
Body has an innate natural mechanism to keep the organisms at bay and thus on a constant auto mode of protection. An individual cannot suffer from any dis-ease until there exist a problem in the natural mechanism. The altered immune problems or immune deficiencies are caused due to an external or internal trigger. The external triggers include the influence of environmental triggers and internal triggers includes the internal hormonal imbalances and mental disharmony.
The mental harmony plays a vital role in maintaining an optimum immune balance by optimizing metabolism of cells responsible for effective immune defenses. Thus a tonic effect is achieved by controlling the thought process and having a peaceful mind. There are several techniques like meditation, yoga, natural catharsis which can bring about a perfect mental balance and harmony thus keeping diseases at bay !
Year 2012 is going to bring to us a lot of good health for ourselves and our family.
Wishing all a good health ahead !

Psoriasis complications
The current conventional treatment therapies available for Psoriasis include myriad of topical applications which is aimed in minimizing the symptoms for a period of time. The flare ups are inevitable.
The chief action of drugs used to control the auto inflammation and inhibit the skin cell proliferation.
The research suggests that Psoriasis has risk of developing Type II Diabetes, Lymphoma, Obesity and heart disease. Psoriatic arthritis is also the commonest associate of Psoriasis in which the joints get swollen , painful , restricting the motion.
Thus disappearance of symptoms does not necessarily constitute cure, the patient needs to visit the doctor for monitoring even when there are no visible skin lesions.
The correct approach in treatment of Psoriasis should be to reverse the autoimmune trait rather than just treating locally for the visible skin lesions.
Dr.Hair has developed scientific protocols to monitor the progress of disease and influence of treatment therapy.

Our Only Slogan: Our priority is “YOU”
Increase your body’s natural ability to grow your hair
Each individual’s metabolism is unique to his/her physical make up and behaviour. Metabolic rate can be affected by some diseases and also some drugs; common ailments like thyroid disorders and drugs like antidepressants etc. can affect metabolic rate.
Vitamins and minerals play a vital role in growth of the hair and deficiencies can lead to change in hair texture, brittle hair and eventually hair loss. Vitamins like Vit A, Vit B, Vit E and minerals like copper, zinc and magnesium contribute in healthy hair. Proteins are equally important for hair growth and strength.
Chronic stress can lead to shift of hair from growth phase into a falling phase. Stress can also reduce the nutritive flow to the hair causing hair loss. Thus reducing stress by adapting stress relieving techniques can improve hair vitality.
If you have any queries write in to our expert at service@drhair.co.in and we will revert back to you promptly.
Healthy Mind - Healthy Hair
External stressors can play an important role in hair fall. Anything that constraints our freedom of expression, thought or action creates a situation of stress that out bodies and our minds would like to change. It results in a feeling of unhappiness and discontent. These stressors can influence us in various settings at work, home in social settings etc.
Stressors lead to exhaustion, eating disorders and nervous conditions can also have a damaging effect on male hormones. Male hormone (DHT) is responsible for more than 95% of hair loss.
This metabolism of male hormone (androgen) gets involved with an enzyme, the 5 alpha reductase which tends to combine with the male hormone, testosterone to give DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). This DHT is the natural metabolite of the human body that is the main reason for hair loss. When DHT reaches the hair follicle it prevents the vitamins , proteins and other nutrients from reaching the hair follicles which ultimately leads to shrinkage of hair follicle and ultimately thinning of the hair shaft.
Thus when your hormones are out of whack, deficiencies that once lay dormant inside your body can begin triggering a series of events that can create havoc to your hair.
A positive outlook can help you to cope better with stressful situations and can change your life for the better. Apart from keeping positive attitude certain food like caffeine, alcohol, excessive sugar intake and red meat increases stress levels.
Munching on certain foods like oranges, Avocadoes, Almonds, Walnuts, Spinach and other green leafy vegetables helps reduce stress. Aim to incorporate more of the good foods into your diet and this will help you to control hair loss and stress too.

Winter scalp prevention
Frequent dandruff influences hair loss. It is normal
for skin cells to die and flake off; a small amount of flaking is
normal and common. Dandruff is shedding of dry cells from the scalp which is
often triggered by frequent exposure to extreme heat and cold. Scientific
evidences have shown that fungus does play a role in causing dandruff.
Approximately 45% of human population suffers from the problem
of dandruff at any point of time. The problem can be very unsightly,
which makes it an embarrassment, causes emotional distress. Most of the
sufferers avoid wearing dark clothes as the presence of white flakes often
becomes a cause of embarrassment in public and thus can affect a person’s
social life.
How can it be
prevented?
Do not scratch your scalp or use combs etc. to pick the scalp. Using any
such tools will often worsen the scenario. The scalp is very sensitive; the
hair products that you use can also irritate the scalp. Avoid using blow
dryers.
Diet plays an important role. Make sure your
diet contains vitamins E, B6 and B12, selenium and zinc. Flaxseed oil and oily
fish also said to help prevent dandruff as they are rich in Omega 3 Fatty
acids. Red meat like Mutton, Beef and pork should be consumed in moderation.
When should I
see a Doctor?
If your scalp
isn't getting better with these recommendations, or if it's red, inflamed or
painful, then you must see your doctor to get it examined and treated.
